Mission: |
To build hope and resilience in the lives of youth and their families in Northwest Pasadena and West Altadena. We work in partnership with the community to provide life-changing services and to act as a catalyst for pragmatic solutions that reduce community violence, improve academic achievement, and launch career paths for the benefit of the greater Pasadena/Altadena area. |

For more than 25 years, Flintridge’s work and activities have been shaped by the community and its needs.
Our priorities are:
- Developing practical and collaborative solutions to reduce community violence, including providing vocational training and workforce opportunities to deter gang involvement.
- Providing learning and enrichment opportunities that support the positive development of children and youth, with a focus on improving student achievement at Washington Middle School and John Muir High School.
- Providing tools, training and guidance to build the capacity of nonprofit organizations and community leaders to meet the comprehensive needs of children, youth and families.
- Mobilizing, coordinating and providing an administrative framework for community partnerships to address challenges, create change and respond to new opportunities.
