Karen Gerst
Director of Communications & Grants Management
Karen is responsible for developing and implementing Flintridge Center’s communications plan, including overseeing public relations, the website and marketing materials, as well as supporting fund development activities. Prior to joining Flintridge in 2000, Karen worked in event marketing and fund development for the City of Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Department and before that in communications and fund development for International Medical Corps, a nonprofit emergency relief organization based in Los Angeles. She received a B.A. in English from Skidmore College in New York and pursued graduate studies in theatre at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio.
