Victor Perez

Victor Perez photoVictor joined Flintridge in 2009 just days after returning from a study abroad program in Salvador Bahia, Brazil, where he studied Portuguese language and culture. Victor’s responsibilities include coordinating the registration and logistics for all Community Services workshops and trainings, writing news and event updates and distributing these to Flintridge’s email list. In addition, he assists visitors to the Philanthropy Resource Library, conducts Library orientation trainings and maintains the Library collection and new acquisitions database.

Victor grew up in Northwest Pasadena and has been an active community volunteer since the age of 14. While attending John Marshall Fundamental School, he helped elementary and middle school students improve their math and reading levels at a local after-school tutoring program, Bridging Resources in Technology and Education (BRITE). Later, during his summer breaks from college, he interned with the Center for Community and Family Services Head Start program in Pasadena. Victor received a B.A. in Global Economics and Latin American Latino/a Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
