Community Collaborations
Flintridge Project

Flintridge envisioned the story project as a way for Northwest ECHO partners to learn more about each other’s programs and services for youth. Sharing stories builds connections. This, in turn, leads to opportunities for people and organizations to work together, to leverage resources and identify best practices. In addition, by highlighting the work of the Northwest ECHO partners, Flintridge helps broaden awareness of their important role in our community. These organizations keep youth safe during out-of-school hours. Their programs enrich minds, develop skills and inspire young people to dream.

The Northwest ECHO story project was made possible through the research and reporting of Hilda Ann Venegas, a journalism student at the University of La Verne. Hilda developed and wrote the articles while she interned at Flintridge during the summer of 2007.
