APP Graduation

The Fall APP class graduated last week, and we couldn’t be more proud! There was standing room only in the Flintridge Retreat Center for an evening of celebration and recognition.

Edson Morgan, a 2014 APP graduate who is now an electrical apprentice, spoke about life after APP, congratulated the current class on their dedication, and encouraged them to stay focused on their dreams. Then, current graduate Genghis Hernandez spoke about how APP has changed his life and his goals for the future. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house as Genghis looked to his family and said how excited he was to make them proud.

Ron Miller, Executive Secretary of the Los Angeles/Orange Counties Building and Construction Trades Council, awarded MC3 certificates to each graduate. At the end of the ceremony, Daniel reminded the class that just because they’ve finished the program doesn’t mean that they can’t come to Flintridge for help. “Flintridge never closes the door,” he said.

The next APP session starts in January. To learn more, visit our website or contact Daniel.
