ArtCenter Returns to Flintridge

Our Youth of Promise program started a new semester of arts education workshops with student leaders from ArtCenter College of Design. Last year 12 middle and high school youth created 2D designs for transportation vehicles. This year they are upping the ante. Over the next 10 weeks youth will design and construct unique 3D models, building on the skills they learned last year. Not only do these workshops provide creative outlets for artistic development, they incorporate Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) skills that support academic achievement.

We are so grateful to have student leaders from the ArtCenter invested in our Youth of Promise. Their workshops are a vital component of the YOP program and help us unlock the potential of each youth.
