Flintridge attends Just Mercy Screening & Discussion

Seven Youth of Promise spent part of their President’s Day watching the film Just Mercy and engaging in discussions about the film. Just Mercy tells the stories of injustice and mass incarceration. Youth heard from Gary Tyler, a former inmate at Angola Prison who shared his story of protection, survival, and release. Flintridge Center Co-Executive Director Daniel Torres spoke on the panel about about how themes in the film are relevant to Flintridge’s work.
