Flintridge Earns Career Placement Award
Last month, Flintridge was honored to receive an Outstanding Achievement Award from the South Bay Workforce Investment Board (SBWIB) in recognition of achieving outstanding job placement performance. Flintridge partners with the SBWIB to provide job training and placements through our Apprenticeship Preparation Program (APP). At the SBWIB’s 22nd Annual Awards Ceremony, Flintridge was recognized for placing 83% of APP participants in union construction careers.
The event was hosted by Jan Vogel, Chief Executed Officer of the SBWIB, and highlighted by keynote speaker Kevin Demoff. Mr. Demoff is the Chief Operating Officer & Executive Vice President of Football Operation for the Los Angeles Rams. He spoke about the organization’s commitment to community engagement and revitalization through construction of the team’s new stadium and sports and entertainment district in Inglewood. Flintridge is excited to be a part of Los Angeles’ construction and community development initiatives.
