Happy Halloween from Youth of Promise

After the success of the youth-led Back to School BBQ, four of our Youth of Promise students were eager to plan a community Halloween party. In addition to being a fun event, youth introduced this event as a drug-free community space. Over 80 community members came out to paint pumpkins, eat tacos and fresh cotton candy, and compete in the costume contest.

It was a truly fun community event with a little Halloween spookiness thrown in. Special thanks to our partners at Harvest Village, Young & Healthy, the Pasadena Public Health Department, and Day One… and Happy Halloween!
