Little Free Libraries Take Shape

Using hands-on skills developed over the past month of training, the Apprenticeship Preparation Program began construction on several Little Free Libraries to be set up around the Northwest Pasadena Community. Program participants worked in small teams to create a blueprint and begin the construction process. The Little Free Libraries venture is an ongoing project supported by Pasadena Councilmember John Kennedy and the Pasadena Public Library. The project not only provides a practical application of lessons learned in the APP class but also gives program participants the opportunity to make a positive impact on their community. Keep your eye on our newsletter as the Little Free Libraries are near completion!
