Making a Greater ImPACT
The February PACT Fair had an impressive turnout of over 40 participants seeking services!
The PACT Fair is held on the third Thursday of every month at Flintridge Center. Our goal is to connect previously incarcerated community members with service providers to make their reintegration an easier process. The PACT Resource Fair was initiated by the Pasadena Police Department, with coordination by Flintridge Center and participation from the Pasadena Altadena Reintegration Council. The Council is a multisector coalition of organizations and agencies working together to reduce recidivism and ensure the well-being of our entire community by meeting the needs of formerly incarcerated individuals returning to our community.
20-25 community members generally attend the monthly resource fair. The Council is now aiming to broaden the impact of the fair by bringing twice the number of community members together each month. Flintridge Center’s case manager follows up with all community members after each fair to ensure that they are receiving the continuing support they need to overcome obstacles and become self-sufficient, productive members of our community.
