Meet Our Grads: Angela
After her release from incarceration, Angela Fuller wanted to occupy her time so that she didn’t fall back into her former lifestyle.
Angela came across the Apprenticeship Preparation Program and decided to give it a try. She liked the sense of community, diversity of her class, the knowledgeable instructors, and especially the support and motivation Flintridge provided to help her accomplish her goal of graduating. She says APP was well-suited for her because construction gave her “the opportunity to be creative on a larger scale.”
After graduating in 2014, Angela was accepted into Local 1247 and found a solid paying job, and says she has found new avenues in life because of the APP. “I now have the competent skills to not only survive but thrive,” Angela states. We are extremely proud of Angela and all of her accomplishments!
