Striking Start

Mentees joined by their family members had fun bowling together last Thursday at Montrose Bowl. This was the first event of the year for Youth of Promise.

It was a great turnout with nearly 40 participants. There was a friendly competition between the mentees and their family members, all while enjoying the retro vibe, music, and food of the bowling alley.

Each mentor and mentee spend at least 5 hours together every month. In addition, YOP seeks to encourage all of our mentors, mentees, and their families to have some fun together. Flintridge hosts several events throughout the year to engage families and YOP matches. We know that family involvement helps strengthen and support matches.
