Summer Success Stays Busy

Youth of Promise’s Summer Success program is well underway! Every week, the youth learn capoeira, a Brazilian martial art, and work on art projects led by A Window Between Worlds. They have also been planting flowers around Flintridge, and last week, participated in an Iron Chef competition and worked on graffiti art projects.

Afternoons at Summer Success are spent reading and doing other relaxing activities. On Fridays, Summer Success goes out and about. So far, they’ve enjoyed a trip to the bowling alley, a hike to the Hollywood sign, and a Ventura Beach day. It’s safe to say that it’s going to be a memorable summer, with more fun on the way!
