Thank You, Volunteers!
Volunteers make our work possible in every area. Last month we hosted a special evening to recognize these amazingly generous people, and give volunteers from different programs a chance to meet each other.
Volunteers do so much for Flintridge Center. In our Youth of Promise program, volunteers serve as long-term mentors our youth and provide in-depth academic support after school. Volunteers also lead fun activities, like computer programming classes and yoga. Volunteer attorneys help the formerly incarcerated adults we serve reduce and expunge offenses on their records during monthly Record Change Clinics, and help our Apprenticeship Preparation Program students get up to speed on basic math concepts and financial literacy. Volunteers provide advocacy and support for our justice-impacted constituents as well, connecting them to resources and helping them navigate the reintegration process. We also have volunteers helping to make our whole organization run, on our accounting and administration teams.
We truly could not have the impact we have without volunteers and we cannot thank them enough!
