YOP Springs Into Action

From making art at the Armory in Pasadena to a day spent fishing in Long Beach, our Youth of Promise stayed busy over spring break. Inspired by their trip to D.C., four students spent time planning a project that aims to address harmful norms in their community while developing their leadership skills.

Other highlights include a beach cleanup with the organization Heal the Bay, two trips to the Clippers Mentorship Assist Zone (one of which focused on female empowerment), and a discussion of the documentary Period. End of Sentence.
