Youth of Promise

Mary joined Youth of Promise when she was in 7th grade and having a hard time controlling her anger. Her whole life, her family struggled to make ends meet. Sometimes, they would go without power in their home for weeks. Despite some major life obstacles, Mary thrived in school, earning a 3.8 GPA while also working part-time. She went on to attend  UC Merced.
